Philip's Flower Gardens

The flower stall stood at the bottom of the station approach near Mavis's father's shop in Lee. Mavis named it after her present husband Philip. Flower stalls played an important role in pre-war years, as there were no florists shops as such in those days.
The various gardens have been created by Mavis as havens of relaxation and contemplation.
